I am a 25 year old woman,I took care of my grandmother and after she passed away in had this feeling of wanting to continue from where I stopped with her,it's been such a great opportunity and experience.

I am a great caregiver because I cater for the total aspect of an individual. I always try to keep abreast of useful information and use it to make intelligent decisions. Above my other abilities. I chose to be a caregiver because i have the empathy and compassion that this job requires. This position also allows me to work on the finer qualities of life such as patience, care and to spend quality time with individual based on their specialized needs. I am always mindful that an individual needs my assistance and not like me to take over and control his/her life and should always play an integral role in their decision making. Personally I have experienced individuals under my care achieved desired results getting stronger. and much better from a medical condition. I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have specialized experience in memory care. I have worked in homes and facilities but find my calling is more focused on a one on one basis, therefore I can put my all into one patient.
