I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN THE NEED AND THE WORRIES OF THE FAMILY THAT HAVE TO LEAVE THEIR LOVED ONES ALONE TO GO TO WORK WORRIED ABOUT THEM. I AM A RESPONSABLE, COMPASSIONATE AND CAREING CAREGIVER. I HAVE BEEN A CAREGIVER FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS AND I ENJOY HELPING THE ELDERLY AND SICK WITH THE ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, INCLUDING. GROCERIES EXCERCISE, MEDICATION REMINDER, COMPANIONSHIP AND MUCH MORE. I ENJOY THE WORK THAT I DO AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN MYSELF DOING ANY OTHER WORK BUT HELPING OTHERS.

I'm a great caregivers, orientated a good customer services according to patient necessity. I love help people a caring them too. I enjoy made activity with them, like play dominoes, bingo or made another activity them like and made feel better. My personal achievement that I'm proud is impact his life made a good jorb, effort and being emphatyc with them.

I really enjoy helping people. Even when I was a child, I always knew I wanted to help and care for people that need my assistance. I have taken care of people, and felt like I was part of there family. My grandma is 87 years old. Every year I go south to help care for her, and my sick uncle. I really enjoy the time I spend taking care of them. Makes me feel good inside to know that I can give care to other people who need it.

I have a total of 11 years experience with seniors starting within the nursing homes, private duties and working as a NYS 911 EMT. Working with the elderly has given me the opportunity to grow patient and to be receptive to their needs. Assisting with activities of daily activities such as assisting with personal hygiene, supervising with taking medications, meal preparation, housekeeping, driving to and from Doctors appointments, lifting, positioning, tracheotomy, peg-tube feeding, blood glucose level, suction, dialysis and record vital signs etc. My experience has made me very good at what I do, from recognizing early warning signs of possible cardiac related sickness, hypo/hyperglycemia incidences. Compassion, patience and being compassionate is innate for me, there is a sense of reward putting a smile on someones face just to assist with something so minute but it's really appreciated by the person who requires it. After completing Medical assistant and Phlebotomy I was given a chance to care for my mother, which encouraged me to take on Clinical Nursing Assistant. I worked for 7 plus years as a CNA and currently I am certified and licensed as a Patient Care Assistant(PCA) I am eager to care for and assist others!

1.I became a caregiver because it is a profession I have been always passionate about . 2.I like that I have the opportunity to care for someone's loved one. 3.I am proud of upgrading my career from certified Home Health Aide to certified Nursing Assistant. 4.I am trustworthy, honest, caring, work well, maintain a good companionship with my patients and loving.

I love being a care giver/can because I love what I do. I love the companionship I share with residents and patients. I love making their days a better one. Being a CNA doesn't mean having a job but carrying out a relationship with others.
