Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. Hello families, I am a , CNA- Certified Nurse Assisted. I have been working in the medical and non medical fields of healthcare for 27 years. I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college. I also attended my clinicals at a very well known hospital. I enjoy what I do and I will continue to provide care to the ones in need. As long as I can put a smile on my clients/patients face at the end of the day I'm happy when I have made them happy.

I'm a dependable and caring person who truly enjoys helping others, especially when they need someone they can trust. I'm energetic and outgoing, and I try to bring comfort, patience, and a sense of routine to the people I care for. I'm just as committed to supporting the family as I am the patient, because I know how much it means to feel like you're not alone in it. What led me to caregiving was a personal experience -- I cared for someone very close to me, and through that, I realized how important it is to be present, patient, and kind. That experience stayed with me, and it's what pushed me to do this work professionally. What I love most is getting to know people and being a part of their day-to-day life. Sometimes it's the little things -- a smile, a good conversation, listening to music, cooking, planting flowers or just keeping someone's routine -- that make the biggest difference. One of the things I'm most proud of is being someone people can count on when things are hard. It's not always easy work, but it's real, and it matters.

I just have that care spirit love working with disabled adults enjoy family and just being there for someone who needs me always have care for others seeing someone who cannot speak speak and know that you was there to hear that

What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aide (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a pay check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.I also work on a Dementia/Alzheimer's unit as well at deermeadows. However I got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aide Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.
