Hello, My name is Louise Goldson and the reason I became a caregiver is because for the last couple of years of my Grandmother's life she couldn't take care of herself so I helped her and when it came to the point where I could no longer help her by myself we hired an Home Health Aide to come in and help and seeing how she cared for my Grandmother as if she were her own sparked something in me that said I can so this and help other people and their families. I love being an CNA and helping people I treat all my patients as if they are my family and try my best to make their life as easy as possible while still treating them with respect and dignity.
I' m a caregiver with twenty years of experience. I work in various organizations I work well with my subordinates and peers. I have experience in taking care of adults, young adults, and elderly individuals . I treat each individual with dignity and respect. I am unique I have experience and I am compassionate for elders that are in need. Empathy is something else I bring to the table I am all for the client. When I was a child my grandmother became sick and needed assistance from caregivers they treated her well, furthermore she was an LPN and only wanted the best interest for her patients. I thought it would be great to help elders also have a positive mind set even on a not so good day. Have patience and listen. I must be reliable for my client and the family there is a job that needs to be done and I want them to know they can depend on me. I am trustworthy and honesty is a must. I've watched aides help my grandmother from 1996 to 2004 and they showed me things everyday they came so I would be able to help out myself when they are not there. I started working in home care 2009 after graduating school for medical assisting. I bring great work ethics love and care. Everyone needs someone to depend on and that is me. Thank you

TO WHOW THIS MAY CONCERN MY NURSING CAREER BEGAN IN 1985 OUT OF A MAJOR CONCERN FOR THE SICK,INFIRMED AND ELDERLY, WHO IN MOST CASES CANNOT ADEQUATELY CARE FOR THEMSELVES. SINCE CHILDHOOD, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE PASSION OF CARING, HOWEVER, I HAD TO BECOME AN ADULT TO BEGIN TO TAP INTO MY SPIRITUALITY AND ACHIEVE WHAT WAS IN MY HEART. MY YEAR OF NURSING SKILLS ARE NOT LIMITED AND THEY INCLUDE TOTAL CARE FOR PATIENTS. I AM VERY ENERGETIC AND CAN MULTITASK IF AND WHEN NECESSARY.I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE IN INCAPACITATED CONDITIONS SHOULD HAVE SPECIAL CARE AND RESPECTED AND TREATED AS HUMAN BEINGS AND THEIR NEEDS BEING FULLY MET ARE MY MAIN FOCUS. WHEN I AM GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, MY WORK HABITS AND PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES WILL SPEAK VOLUMES OF WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM CAPABLE OF DOING. MY I SHARE THIS THOUGH WITH YOU WITH YES I CAN ,YES I DID, YES I WILL .

I became a caregiver because i care for the elderly and i enjoy assisting clients with daily tasks. I like being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. Being a caregiver gives me the opportunity to help others that seriously need it, and to learn new things. It also provides me with a chance to interact with new people, and create new friendships. A personal achievement that I am proud of is putting smiles on the faces of the people I assist. Being able to change a persons attitude, from upset to happy is something that warms my heart. Knowing that i provide satisfactory assistance makes me very proud. I am extremely friendly, honest, and caring. Regardless of what my personal situations may be, i am always willing to do something to help other's out, and to treat them with dignity and respect.
I love providing home caregiving servies to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. the smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel i have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so i know i am doing the right thing. What i like best about my job is meeting new people and proving caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselver. I always give 100% and do the best job i can, with no exception or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor or laugh to a client day, that means a lot to me.it important to laugh.
