My name is MaryAnn I am a certified medical assistant, I am searching for private patients who live in the Budd Lake area that need patient care. My duties include providing routine personal care, basic health care for the elderly and the disabled people in their home as a caregiver, I will help patients’ with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and serving/preparing meals and assisting with eating if necessary, I also know how to feed with a stomach tube. I do basic housekeeping including changing bed linens, doing the laundry and light house cleaning. Additionally, I will maintain records of my patients’ condition, progress and difficulties to keep the case managers informed. My hours/days I am looking for is part-time. I have taken care 8 children 4 of them are now adults. So i been a caregiver all my life and i alsi helptake care of my grandparents before they passed on. I started to realize caring for others gave me joy and i loved it. I enjoy most about my job is giving my clients personal one on one care and attention. I get to see smiles on there face. I also just finished in August 2019 Patient Care Tech which allows me to be CNA i am waiting to schedule my written test and a phlebotomist and a EKG Tech and then in January 2020 i start my Nursing Program online classes. And campus clasess. So i am proud of my accomplishment for being a mother of 8.

The compliments I get from people I associated with convince me that I am a good human being because I enjoy the company of others, I am empathetic and above all, I derive great satisfaction in helping others when needed. I was always the go-to girl parents sought out for babysitting purposes. The satisfaction I derive from seeing patients I come into contact with express words of satisfaction for a job well-done. The smile on their faces makes it worth all the effort I put in the job at hand. The 'Thank You' also makes a big difference.

Hi, instead of telling you what I can do or not, I will tell you briefly what I was doing for the last 2 years. I took care of 83 years old/young man with Parkinson disease, dementia. I was helping him with almost everything, from getting him from bed, through shower, shaving, dressing him up, preparing breakfast, giving him his medication, preparing other meals, drinks, helping him walk, exercise, taking him out, taking him to the doctors, physical therapists, dentist, keeping him occupied with some projects and many more including housekeeping, cleaning even we had professional cleaning person every other week. Obviously I was keeping him my company, but I always tried to give him some privacy if possible and encourage him to do some stuff on his own. It was good for him because he felt much better about himself to be able do thing which he was able to do before. We spent so much time together, so everything should have to make sense and right proportions. He was lucky man to have great family, kids, grandkids. I will always remember his sense of humor. I was lucky too, that I had a chance get to know him and his loving family. Besides English I speak Polish too. I have medicine background from Poland , here I have certifications as Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant .
