I love taking care of people. Everytime I am taking care of someone, I don't just treat them as a patient, I treat them as a family member. I'm also a nurse, being a caregiver is pretty much the same being in being a nurse. Everytime I take care of a patient, and the patient or family member will like me or appreciate my work, for me that's a personal achievement.

I'am compassionate and the reason why Iam a caregiver is because this is the closest to what i've studied. What I enjoy most being a caregiver is that Iam able to make my patient feel good about themselves while making sure to reach their daily goal. Something that makes me proud is seeing that I'am able to do my job and being able to meet or exceed my client's expectations.

When i was a kid i'd love to take care other people so i started with my cousins,nieces and nephews. i felt very satisfied and happy even it was just a simple care for them but for me it was different feeling. so every time someone would asked me " what do you want to be when you grow up" i would always say... " i want to be a nurse someday". when the right time came, i took up nursing. All of my hardwork paid off, i graduated with a Bachelors degree in Nursing in the Philippines. I got out of luck in pursuing my career in the U.S because God gave me a wonderful blessing. i got pregnant and i had to focus to my son. year had passed and an opportunity came to me, someone asked me if i could take her place as a CAREGIVER temporarily. she explained all my duties and responsibilities. without a doubt I said YES! at that time I said to my self "God is really good to me!" He wants me to continue what i have had started, even if it was not a nursing career but its almost the same goal; give "TENDER LOVING CARE" to your patient, my Professors used to say those 3 words, and stayed to my mind. I'm a Caregiver for 4 years , I'm happy and proud to say that all of my Patients/relatives/friends giving me a positive feedback regarding my care. Im very appreciative person saying "thank you" makes my heart happy, it was like a music to my ears. Signing In...
