What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I became a care giver to help others that are not able to help their selves, My daughter passed away in 2008 and I saw how the nursing staff made her so comfortable that I wanted to give that comfort back to some one else, what I enjoy about the care giver position, is that the joy you see on the faces of people who really appreciate your kindness. I have been in this profession for about two years working in different nursing home facilities but I feel one on one care would be a better fit for myself, I attended Boces technical career school in the year of 2012, Once finished the cna course of three months I started working for Ten Brock Commons in lake katrine Ny. From there I was hired at Golden Hill Nursing Home facility. Trying to find my fit in the facility industry that I also worked in the FernCliff Nursing Home also. I find myself at this point wanting to give private care a try.

I became a caregiver because i love helping people and seeing people smile. I love my job for one reason only my residents. They make my day if even if i am having a bad. Seeing them happy because i helped them out with their ADL's. My personal achievement is actual being a cna and being a mom all at one time.
