I choose to be a caregiver because I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives daily. My life's journey has always been linked to helping other people; I just never saw it as serving them. As I have grown to know myself, I have discovered that I have this huge heart that wants the best for myself and for others. I now live to serve, and this brings me great fulfillment.

Since 2016 I have worked as a caregiver for others Companies , where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease with daily living needs. I work under the guidance of a PA and RN to help implement and support resident-care plans, which include providing services to aid in memory care, physical care, and psycho-emotional care optimizing residents' quality of life. I'm a very happy caregiver. I've been told I have a smile that can brighten up any room. I love what I do and very compassionate about my work. I enjoy just about everything there is to love about a caregiver. The fact that just my presence and my company is good enough for someone is enough for me. And I love the positive feedback from my patients. I remember I had a case where my client had a really bed sore on his bottom and the heel of his foot. He was very down about and thought it would be aegis le before he walked again because of the pain. So every morning I encouraged him to walk around his bedroom, within a few weeks he was walking up the steps making his own breakfast. Another client of mine was bed bound from MS, she can be hoyer lift but decided to stay in bed. After working with her for almost a year around the 6 month mark I was able to get her out of bed into her mobile chair, only for a few minutes but I was happy enough that I was able to encourage her to get out of bed. I just love to see people happy. And the world we live in I live being positive and making peoples' days. So that's why I LOVE my job.
