I love hearing back stories on clients that's I have cared for, they always tell them perfectly! When my grandmother got sick in 2013 with stage 4 lung cancer I quit my job and took care of her until she went on hospice in her home, in 2014. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life and that was to be a nurse one day! My biggest achievement is when I went to LPN school, although I withdrew in February of 2019 the knowledge and experience I gained is not forgotten. I was going into my second clinical rotation when I caught the flu and missed 23 clock hours! I had an hour left until next semester which was 3 months away! I had no choice to withdraw, but I will become a nurse, it's my passion!

I'm a very loving person. I love to help people. I love to learn new things and communicate with new. I follow directions well and I always give 120% when doing a task. I work well under pressure. I love bible study and reading to and with my clients. I became a caregiver because helping my grandmother as a child always gave me joy and still is till this day. Hi! My name is Kimberly, I am 20 years old and am a biochemistry major on my way to medical school. In addition, I love to work with the elderly. I have a special relationship volunteering at my local hospice and nursing home. I have worked with residents who can and can not hear and have had successful communication with both. I especially work well with those suffering from dimentia. I have spent a lot of time assisting my boyfriend's aunt who has dimentia and have learned great skills that I have been able to use to communicate with many of the reisdents in the nursing home by my school. I have a gentle heart, a love for others, and will cherish every moment both good and bad that I get to spend with your loved one. I have experience taking care of both of my grandparents until they passed away last year. I assisted in transportation, meal prep, bathroom needs, showering needs, cleaning needs, and especially companionship. If your loved one needs transportation and assistance with doctors appointments I am very understanding of medical terminology and will take notes and be able to relay the information to you successfully and accurately if needed. I understand the hardship that comes with caring for a loved one. It was hard for my dad to not be there to take care of his parents but luckily I had the time and desire to. I can understand the frustration you may be feeling and the trust you need to have someone outside of your family help. These times can be hard but let me not only help your loved one, but help you and your family. God Bless.

I have experience as a CNA(6yrs) HHA(4yrs) Hospice Aide(3yrs) and as a Surgical Technologist(10yrs) CDPAP (3.5yrs). I've worked in nursing home as well as private care, independent living, hospital floors as an Patient Care Tech, and the Operating room assisting the Surgeon. I have work with Alzheimer's, cerebral palsy, para and quadriplegics , diabetes, amputee, epilepsy, cancer pts., dementia and parkinsons and traumatic brain injuries just to name a few. I'm familiar with wound dressing ,trach suctioning, tube feeding, supra pubic catheter, and can change a catheter. (Trained) I also have CPR training for (18+yrs). I am good with one assist with hoyer of all types and ambulation and I am meticulous empathetic, honest, punctual and a team player. I am interested in an day position. I have an up to date PPD my physical and I have proof of immunization.
