I'm passionate, caring and patient person. My biggest accomplishment is making patients feel better and safe. I had a patient that was dying of cancer she was afraid to go to sleep. I stayed by her side until she fell asleep . It made her feel like she wasn't alone and she wasn't as scared. To make her feel better was a accomplishment.

I been a caregiver for 25 years.I love what I do the. I enjoy seeing the ones I care for on a daily basis. I treat my people as if they were my family member with respect dignity and compassion. If I can make a difference in someones life on any given day thats whats important to me.

I choose to be come a caregiver because of my grandma, watching her slowly struggle and get worse she needed aids and help herself. The way she talked about how much of a difference a good caregiver really was made me realize that I could do that and make a difference as well. I also knew what kind o wanted to be. I love the fact that you can brighten someone's day by just showing up helping and encourage them to keep doing things and being as independent as they can. My best achievement would probably me working hard and receiving my cna before even graduating high school. I am a person who will go out of my way to help others and do what what is needed without being asked, especially when it comes to safety.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of my residents every day when they know there is someone there who is going to truly care for them no matter what. I am a care giver on a Neuro behavioral Unit which can be very challenging at times but something I love about being a caregiver is being able to be there for people who need me. Knowing that I am caring for someone who might not be able to do things without me and teaching them how to do daily activities on their own is the best. A personal achievement I am proud of is rescuing my dog that I have. He was terribly neglected to the point where he was starved and had mange and I was able to help him get better and make him know he will never be treated that way again. I am planning on going to be a registered nurse eventually but for right now I am content being a CNA. Iwouldnt be happier doing anything else in my life right now.

I am a caring and energetic person, who has a passion for caregiving. I enjoy being able to help people who need it, which is why I chose to be a caregiver. I am also in school for phlebotomy.
