Extensive experience caring for pediatrics to geriatric, Ventilator and mental health. I've been an LPN for 6 years. I'm experienced with geriatric patients, mostly in a long term care setting. I've also worked in a group home and had some experience with home care.

I've been working in the healthcare field since 16 years old. I have extensive experience with Geriatric Care, Pediatric Care, Acute Care and Psychiatric Care. I've worked as a home care supervising nurse and currently work as a shift nurse at a nursing facility. I've worked with Dementia/Alzheimer's, TBI/CVA, Epilepsy, Encephalopathy, Quadriplegia/Hemiplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, Lung/Throat/Prostate Cancer, Trach/Vent Care, COPD, Autism, Gastrostomy Tubes, Oral/Nasal/Tracheal Suctioning, Indwelling/Suprapubic/Straight Catheterization and most importantly Head to Toe Assessments. I went to a state university to achieve education in psychology to be able to care for my patients not only physically but mentally and be a full support system. My aunt is currently a RN in Malawi, Africa and has been caring for patients and their families for over 10 years. Her compassion and dedication to become involved with building critical care centers and health care awareness centers has been part of my motivation to pursue my career as a nurse. I would consider myself to be a dependable, compassionate, and dedicated patient advocate.
