I believe that people need to be treated with compassion and respect regardless of their condition. I am punctual and dependable so there is never any worry if I am going to show up or not. I consider myself a good cook and maintain a clean home. I am capable of running most home health care equipment. I am also very capable of dealing with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and hospice. I manage a facility that is rated a 5 star home for 4 years in a row by the state. About me personally; I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have a 16 year old daughter. We have lived in the same house for 22 years so you might consider me a very stable person. I enjoy working outside in my flower beds, church activities, and my daughters sporting events.

I am a caregiver with 2 years of experience . I've worked with Kids Planetz Services and I've worked in patients homes and also I've done live in care as well as attending patients in hospitals who are on suicide watch, are combative or are either a danger to them selves or others. I've had patients who I take care of one day and patients I've done in home care for almost a year. I'm familiar with Dementia, Alzheimer's , Parkinson's and Schizophrenia. Also I've worked as a nanny with kids from the ages of 1month -12 years . I am very outgoing and determined I am also a somali, speak somali and English fluently. I've been working with my current employer for 2 years but as of current changes in the company they cut back on my hours so I am looking for a full time job.

My twin sister was born with schizophrenia, I enjoyed taking care of her and I still do. Taking care of people with special needs gives me joy and fulfillment and makes me know that I am making an impact on someone's life in some way. I feel like I am making a difference in their lives by providing them joy and laughter. Just seeing my sister laugh and smile is a big achievement for me everyday and I am happy because I know am the reason she is smiling.
