I'm an easy going person. Takes to new things easily. I'm a mother to two special needs boys. I love being around others and helping anyone I can. I became a CareGiver to help a friend be more independent. I enjoy being able to help someone be more independent and live a nice life. I'm most proud of myself for getting my STNA license. I'm working on going back into school to get my GED and showing my kids it's never to late to go after your dream! From there I plan to go on and further my education and get my Nursing degree.

what makes me a great care giver is I genuinely care about the person I am caring for like a family member I'm patient and caring, listening to their every need, understanding their likes and dislikes making sure they get the best care, I want them to smile when they see me coming in the door and be happy I'm there. I love the repore I have with the elderly I can always get a smile or a laugh while give exceptional care, I've always felt if it wasn't for the elderly my generation and others wouldn't be here to carry on the love of caring and teaching others as they instilled in us many yrs ago. my personal achievement I'm proud of is I received the Heart of the house Award from the ombudsman and the residents at my current work place, this made me very proud of what I do because all I was doing was my job what I love.
