My career was in business. I retired at a young age. I went into the health care industry from a suggestion of a relative who worked at a large local hospital. I worked there for 6 years and cared for hundreds of patients each having different illnesses. This background caused me to decide I would like to become an independent provider due to my experience. I particularly enjoy caring for elderly men with dementia. What I've found is their long term memories are interesting and have heard interesting stories especially from WWll veterans. I try to become "part of the family" with each patient. I try my best to help each patient maintain their dignity, be comforting, gain their confidence provide friendship and assure a safe environment. In all my past working experiences caregiving is my most satisfying.

I have an amazing heart it is my passion to help others in need. From the time I reached 5 years old I found my self helping others in need. I am a natural caregiver this is a skill I was borne with. When I help others and they smile and are satisfied with my service I am happy and have reached my daily goal!

I became a caregiver at a young age by request but as I got older it was done by choice. Caring for the elderly gives me satisfaction knowing that I can help people in a personal way. I love making people laugh. It's my way of adding sunshine to their lives. Several seniors I have cared for were not excited at all about having someone to come in to sit and to care for them but it took a short while for them to look forward to my arrival and they hated to see me leave. I have cared for people of all age groups. I have worked exclusively for the elderly the past few years. I have been a great companion to them all! I'm very caring, I work long hours if needed and I'm willing to do just about whatever it takes for those in my care to have a very meaningful experience! I do med reminders, incontinence care, meal preparations, and to stay busy, I will clean! I love what I do and have always done more than what was asked. My main objective with care is to help the family members of those in my care feel they can live their lives without worrying about their loved one in my care. They can feel confident that their loved one is in good hands! Those I have experience with had Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and I have cared for a quadriplegic! I became a care giver because I love working and talking care of senior citizens and the handicap. I love to get to know my clients and enjoy making their lives a little easier. I had a young girl who was in a car accident and I helped her get her high school diploma and helped her walk again I am a 47yr old mother of 3 have 9 grand babies and I raise my nephew who had muscular dystrophy I moved to Ohio from Michigan to be near my middle daughter. I love to take care of people and enjoy being a care giver.

I have been in the field of caregiving in some form or another, most of my adult life. I have worked as a Nursing assistant in nursing homes, a hospital on the Med/surgery and Palliative care floor, and out of clients homes. I currently work as provider for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities on the weekends. I have provided support for DD individuals for most of the past 7-8 years. Along with professional care, I have also given care to family members at home after a stroke, and with post-surgery care as well. I strive to treat your loved one, as I would my own loved ones at home.

I'm very outgoing, positive and funny. I love being a care giver because get to meet different people and hear different stories about the past. What I enjoy the the most about being a caregiver is hearing the stories.

I am a very nuturing type of caregiver whom is looking for full or part-time work. Depending on my schedule I can do on call if you need for a shift to be covered.
