In 2005 I had the opportunity to move to Naples, Florida to assist an elderly couple whom I had been helping in Oakwood. They had decided to remain in Naples year-round. After I was no longer needed by them I remained in the area helping others. I am back in Ohio ,again, to be nearer to family and friends. What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I give the kind of care that I myself would want to receive. I believe everyone wants and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I wanted to become a caregiver after watching how my moms caregiver took such awesome care of her, she was so good I wished I could send her to everyone's mom but since I couldn't do that I decided to make other families feel like she made ours feel...completely at ease! In my time off I like going to church, spending time fishing with my husband and spoiling my grandkids, and shopping!

Every since I was a child I have always had a want when it came to helping people and making them happy.when I was 17 years old I began training at Wellington manor to become a state certified nurse aid and worked there for almost three years then I worked a year at community multicare, and Terri years with a home health agency called family serves. Then I had children and stayed home for ten years with my children and baby say two special needs children.my first job when I returned fyi work was care givers for independence which was working with people with disabilities. I am currently in college fit a bachelors degree and hippie to be in a manager position in the health field in my future.I love being a care giver and makes me feel happy to assist others to keep them at home healthy and happy.
