I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others. My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's disease. What I like most is enteracting with my clients, and getting a welcoming reaction out of my clients and their families. My personal achievement that I'm proud of, is being a child of God. Hi, My name is Regchal but it's said Rachael different, Yes I know lol. Am 23 years of age graduate from high school have two childeren of my own that I love to the Moon and back. Yet I decided to become a caregiving back in 2006 when my mother had to get open heart surgery she had an 80% blockage of the heart ovary basically devastated the whole family thing were chaotic but I myself had to pull it together and be her strength I was only 16 when I took care of my mom after heart surgery I got offered a job at Cleveland Clinic one of the biggest hospital in the world to be an aide there yet, my mom thought I was to young at the time. I love what I do and I am good, but what makes me great and stand out from other is that I have a passion for it, it's God's gift to me to be nurturing and with this gift I was and still is my mother back bone, to others it's just wiping butt and cleaning people but to me it's a whole lot more then just that, I myself as an nursing Aides become attracted Family we build trust tell stories cry together we get through the storm to get to the sun but you have to do this with a caring heart so our resident build confidence and say they can instead I can't.

My name is Makenna, I've been working in healthcare for almost two years now. I'm currently attending LCCC for Nursing. Before LCCC I attended the Medina County Career Center for two years. I studied Nursing in their Diversified Medical Technologies Program. I was also elected Senior Class President. While attending I received my STNA, 10 OSHA, BLS, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens licenses. We also covered Safety and Infection Control, Vital Signs, Legal and Ethical Responsibilities, personal Qualities of Healthcare Providers, Communication Skills, Health Care Careers, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculation, Basic Laboratory Procedures, IV Therapy, Electrocardiography, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Team Work, Pre-Nursing, Physical Assesment, Early Placement and Community Service.
