I first started off taking care of my obesity mother. I enjoy taking care of people. I was diagnosing my patients as an aide.. and that's when I went to nursing school a become an L.P.N...I'm A mother of 3,I was told my youngest child would never walk or talk and today being her advocate she is in regular school with special education but is walking and talking.

A great caregiver has a natural urge to help people. They always place a priority on the needs of others and generally have a strong desire to make the world a better place. A few traits that make me one of those caregivers are; I'm empathetic, compassionate, reliable, patient, trustworthy and flexible. I also consider myself a "Jack-of-all-trades" kind of caregiver. I became a caregiver because I enjoy making a difference in people's lives. My primary goal has always been to help improve the quality of life of anyone I come in contact with. I particularly enjoy putting a smile on someone's face as that to me, is the most refreshing and rewarding feeling ever. Over the years as I have provided care to people, I realized that my confidence has drastically improved in every area of my life, this being because caregiving requires decisiveness and self-trust, knowing someone relies on you for their daily well-being has also increased my sense of self-worth. As an enthusiastic nursing professional with experience providing direct and indirect care to a diverse patient base, I am proud to attain a Practical Nurse Diploma complemented by acquiring key experience in both my nursing clinical rotations- and facility-based patient care like the Cleveland Clinic. I have a year and a half work experience as Home Health Aide and almost two years of work experience supporting RNs and CNAs in comprehensive patient support at the Cleveland Clinic Southpointe Hospital. I also received some acknowledgment from the nursing staff which will be provided upon request.

My strengths are my communication skills , organizational skills and attention to detail. I love people of all ages and am experienced in care from birth to geriatrics including hospice Care. I have been LPN for almost 4 years. I have worked with Dementia patients, skilled patients, geriatric and with mental, and substance abuse patients. Prior to becoming a nurse I worked as an STNA and Home health care aide for about 3 years. I believe in the patient's needs being a priority and providing quality to care.

Hello! I enjoy care giving, in any capacity, as a person whose spiritual path is guided by the principal that it takes a village, not just to rear children, but to honor our elderly population, to cultivate compassion, for those with special needs, and to assist those who are living with medical challenges. As a cancer survior and mother of three, (who has an outstanding relationship with all of my children!)
