Even as a little girl I have always enjoyed helping people any way I could. I have always been drawn to the medical field in some way. I started as a PCA helping with medications, insulin, wound care, some personal care. I then became a CNA and have worked with many wonderful people. From helping with basic care needs, to being someone they could share company with. To full care needs. Dressing, dinning, bathing, physical therapy, helping transfer from sitting ro standing. Wheelchair to bed. I love being able to make someone smile in anyway I can.

Becoming a caregiver for me comes from a deep compassion to help others. Knowing that I can make a difference in someones day just from lending a hand, an ear, or a shoulder is enjoyable for me. I have been a certified nursing assistant for almost 12 years. I have seen and learned alot, I have been present for the best of times, and the worst. I love what I do so much that I went to college and obtained my associates degree in nursing!

I care for my Patience as if they were my own family members. I originally got into caregiving because I care about other people. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is bringing joy to my patients or my residents and knowing that if they needed someone they could always depend on me. One of my personal Achievements is as a caregiver I got to care for my grandfather at the end, and knowing that that I got to care for him and give him the comfort that he needed gave me a of peace of mind.

I am a great caregiver is because I love my job and what I do. Since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to help people. What I like about being a caregiver is I get to make a difference in someone's life. Even if it's just making them smile everyday.
