Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. I have always had a helping spirit, even as a child. I have learned the most about myself and I feel I have developed the most patience as a mother by caring for others. I treat people how I would want my loved ones to be treated, with respect, patience, honesty and a smile: and in return, I treat my loved ones better because I'd be ashamed to treat a stranger better than my family. It's a beautiful cycle, and although it can be emotionally draining at times, the joy I feel by helping someone achieve there personal best in a given moment fills me to the core! My 5 year old daughter is my greatest achievement. I am assured that I am doing well by the way she treats others with love and kindness.

What makes me a great caregiver is my friendly personality, being reliable and being very detailed.I also have 5 year experience, which includes a large range of people from conditions as physical and mental disabilities to bed bound patients to people who just want companionship. Everyone is different and I like to learn what they prefer and make them happy,I enjoy making people smile. I believe in strong communication with the family. I also adore all family pets!

I am very compassionate person who enjoys going above and beyond for anyone. I enjoy taking care of people and helping them feel great about themselfs and thier lives. I enjoy taking care of others because its nice to make a difference in someones life and to build a great bond with that person and help them know they are not alone. I am a very big person on patient rights so i will not force any care on anyone if they refuse i will jusy contact the family or person responsible for the patient/client.

I love to work with children and older Adults, it gives you a feeling of joy when you can teach and learn from one another. I have 2 teenage myself and several nieces and nephews that I love spending time with and teaching them different things. I love to help others and genuinely enjoy doing it.

I became a caregiver in 1996 when I had to take care of my maternal grandmother. We became very close during the years that I cared for her and I have loved caregiving since that time. What makes me proud of being a caregiver the most is when the people I care for smile with joy at the end of the day when I am caring for them. It reminds me of how happy my grandma was during her days with me and It's like a great reward to me
