Hello! My name is Dalese Williams, I am a 18 year old graduate currently going to school to receive my Pharmacy Technician License. I am outgoing, reasonable, very funny and easy to get along with. I also speak Spanish! My grandmother was my first caregiving job for about 3 years before she passed. The opportunity to get a chance to stay in-home and work really motivated me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most being able to connect with those I'm watching, listening to the stories they tell and being there so they feel safe. Personal achievements I am proud of: Graduating high school with my daughter! (Very though but we did it!)

Growing up I watched my aunt who was a mother to me, take care of her mother (my Grandmother) at home until her passing at 100 years old. I also enjoyed having fun laughing and talking to my Grandma we made each others day. That's why I became interested in becoming a caregiver. I really like being a caregiver because it's such a rewarding and fulfilling experience to help others in their time of need. I can only hope that if I am ever in need of assistance that I will be fortunate enough to have someone who enjoys helping other as I do, to take care of me. One of my personal achievements that I am most proud of is that I took care of my aunt at home full-time for the last 12 years of her life until her passing at 101 years old, because she never wanted to go to a Nursing Home. I have been a Caregiver/ Companion for over 20 years now. However, I believe some of the qualities that make me a great caregiver is that i'm dedicated to my job, have patience with others, responsible, compassionate, honest, trustworthy, loyal,professional, respectful and enjoy good conversation and a good laugh. For me being a caregiver is as normal as breathing...And I like to do that!
