Hello to whom the is may concern, I've been working in the health field since 2009 and I love what I do. I've always had a passion for helping others. I currently work as a CNA providing private duty work. I am a mother of 5 children and two dogs whom I love so much. My dream is to one day open up and run my daycare business.

I have a passion for putting others first and it is the most rewarding thing a person can do but the reward is not the motivator behind my choice to be a care giver, I enjoy what I do. what I like about caregiving is the fact that am able to provide care for my client and the smile on their faces shows satisfaction. I like to put 100% on my job and at the same time sense of humor, laughter means so much to me.

I've always loved taking care of my elders! I took care of my grandmother for 2 years in 2008-2010, because my grandmother started having strokes after she got done with chemotherapy and radiation. I helped my grandmother to roll over to get comfortable, helped her get on the commode, helped her sit on the side of the bed, helped her to get drinks and fed her. My grandmother died in Feb 2010 due to a massive stroke. That's why I got my CNA because I absolutely loved it when I took care of my grandmother. I have a big heart to love and take care of my elderly clients. I'm very compassionate, very out going, very caring, and very respectful to everyone, and I get along great with other people.

Since I was little I knew my purpose was to be help others in need. I'm a responsible, reliable, and respectful person. I've worked full-time while being a full-time college student. Although I am working full-time, I miss being a caregiver and this is why I'm so excited to be here. I start my journey of nursing school this August 2021. I'm a companionate, patient caregiver, and I always put my residents first. I became a caregiver to get hands on experience with taking care of others and being able to be there for them. I enjoy having time with my residents, getting to know what works better for them (carewise), and being able to be there to support them. I worked in a memory care unit before, and was able to find ways to make my residents feel safe and I gained their trust. I made sure to let them know who I was every time they asked, and found ways to help them cope when not remembering things. Memory care taught me how to gain more CNA skills by making me a better and stronger caregiver. I am proud of never giving up on my dreams no matter what challenge I may have. I'll always do my best to care for your loved one and make sure their safety comes first. I believe it's important letting my residents and their families know that they're not alone. I think I have a true calling to patient care. I enjoy getting to know each one, and find a connection. I have the patient's to understand their needs. And I'm thorough in my care, and getting my patients to understand the care I'm about to give. I enjoy knowing that I'm giving someone the opportunity to continue living without worry of not being able to do the things their physically unable to do any longer. To give them dignity. And trust that someone is there that cares.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others and making their lives better. I am proud of my goal achievements. My dreams were always to be a caregiver and after 3 yrs of working all day and going to school at night, while being a single mom, I became a preschool teacher/director. After I moved to Oklahoma, I redirected my profession to medical caregiving. I am a caring and compassionate person with a passion for helping others. I have been a CNA since Jan 2013. I have worked in hospitals and done home health. I love the experience the hospitals have given me, as I mostly worked the float pool, giving me a variety of experience in the healthcare field. I prefer home health, as I can give 1:1 care and build trust and amazing bonds with my clients.

I think what makes me a good caregiver is that i actually care about my clients and there well being i love to help people always have since a child its really a passion of mine i enjoy getting to know my clients and there everyday life how they grew up etc keeping them company im proud of the bond i have with my clients it makes me feel like family i have my cna and cma to better fit the needs of my clients im looking forward to hearing from my possible new clients
