I have a passion for helping others. I wanted to make a difference in the life of someone who was ill. Being able to bring some happiness to those in need. Being chosen as a lead aid, to be able to train new caregivers.

What makes me a great caregiver is my organization and ablity to multitask, I'm a reliable person. I enjoy people and treat people with respect. I've been a caregiver for 30+ years the reason I became a caregiver is, it's given is the ability to help other people, live the best posible life they can live. What I enjoy the most is watching people smile and heal. The thing I'm most proud of is raising my 4 children to be healthy young men.

Caregiving isn't for everyone, you have to have a great love for it and your clients! I've received Employee of the Month and Nurse Delegation certificate. I work for 2 locations under my company because I enjoy working so much! I truly enjoy the people I work for! I enjoy cleaning, organizing, grocery shopping, helping people get around and anything else I'm able to assist with! I love animals too!

I'm a people person. I'm flexible and compatible with, I would say, just about every personality type. Just for the simple fact that I accept people for who they are and where they are. I like to say, essentially, I will meet them where they're at in life. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my desire to help people live as free and independent as possible. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love people and their company and I love hearing their stories of where they've been and what they've done. I think what I love most about being a caregiver is just the fact that I'm empowered to give a piece of myself to someone, to hopefully make their life better or more comfortable. I have a lot of achievements, but I think the one that I'm most proud of is the one where I had a client who would not allow anyone to draw their blood or do any kind of testing on them that was really necessary to make things better for them and get them a proper health care assessment. But, they were willing to put down their guard for me. Because of me they allowed work to be done and I can't tell you how thrilled I was that I would have that effect on somebody.

My journey thus far has been on the whole, wonderful. I have had the honor to meet some amazing people I wouldn't normally have met . I have been able to further my knowledge and skills set by being given free training on a range of different subjects I love surrounding people with care. I was hired by my previous employer and worked with them for three years. I've learned how important compassion and acceptance is for Alzheimer's patients. Using gentle redirection, I've seen how a well-organized day that's flexible can help to reduce agitation." I most enjoy getting to know my clients and listening to their life stories. Empathy and Compassion and patience by shown those three things I let the person that I care about them ...and I can do anything to make them happy. I was taking care of my mom for about eleven years until last year, because she was ill......So I always want help elderly I feel like my mom & I treat them like my my on mom. I enjoy when they are smiling and by doing little make a person's day a better It make me happy. I achieved when I take care of my client for five years from doing OK to hospice care ...until her end day we were like mother and daughter and she was always proud of me how I take care my mom and her between ,also with two little children and going to school for Medical assistant . When I graduated she was so happy.

I come with a lot of patience and understanding. Over the years with a lot of training through jobs , taking care of a love one and my own research on disabilities of clients to better understand their needs and circumstances. I put myself in their situation to be more efficient and more compassionate toward each client(s).

Hello my name is Sydney and thank you for considering me to be apart of your family and team! I have been an Acute Certified Nursing Assistant for 7 years and rolling. I have worked in over 30+ nursing homes and hospitals around Oregon, Washington and Idaho as a travel CNA and about 3 years working for Hospice. I love being an in-home CNA because that's where I get to see my patients feel happy and safe. I know that can sometimes it can feel impossible without the help of someone like me to keep your loved ones at home! I specialize in bathing, toileting, all personal cares, wound care and I have the training and experience to help those with a variety of illnesses (Dementia, Parkinson's, Strokes, etc) I have decided to make the switch to private caregiving because I am starting to take online classes for the nursing program, which is hard to do working a classic 9-5! So I might be doing homework while your mom or dad snoozes! I am an excellent communicator, educator and person. I take what I do very seriously and have a huge heart for my elders! On my off time I play violin, hike/camp and snuggle with my cat Winston!

As a CNA I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I grew up with my grandparents and I enjoyed taking care of them because I learned that when we get older things change. I feel i can get along well with a people. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Also doing a variety of tasks in a day. I don't ever say, \\"that's not my job\\" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. to me I think it's important to make someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in paying attention to detail. I'm seeking a career with growing opportunities. I don't want to invest in many years of formal education but you are willing to learn new skills and take continuing education to do your job well. I feel that when you are older, you'd want someone like yourself there to help you if you need help. Being a caregiver means to have Patience,Love, Humbled heart, and the passion to make someone's day when they are going through a big change in life or just need someone to be there.
