I've been a CNA for about 4 years and I've dealt with many different personalities and I feel I can adapt very well to many situatuons. I feel im easy to get along with, I'm caring and I pay attention to the patients needs. I was a volunteer firefighter for about 3 years and I really enjoyed it but I wanted to do more, and that's when I found CNA school and I've loved it ever since. I enjoy being a CNA because of all the patients and family members I get to form a bond/friendship with. I love seeing my patients and being able to interact with them. Working in hospice care I loved hearing from different team members about how much the patients enjoyed me and when the patients would pass away I felt very fortunate that the family would invite me to the service and allow me to be apart of that. I'm still in contact with some of my patients family because we formed such a great bond/love for one another.

I became a caregiver because, I love to work with people. I like being a caregiver, because it is very rewarding. I am proud to have gotten my CNA and CNA 2. I love to work with home/ health and hospice the most. I have worked with many hospice patients and I am very good at working with the families of hospice patients too. My passion is hospice although I have worked with many kinds of patients. I have worked at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg for seven years, from 1997 to 2004. I have done private paid jobs and caregiving jobs. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer patients, too. It doesn't matter what kind of patients I work with, because I have a passion for nursing. I am a very caring and have a bubbly personality and have excellent references.

I became a Caregiver/CNA because I love people, I love being of service and believe that every individual deserves to live the best life they can in any situation. Let me start off by telling you that this is more then a job for me. This is my passion, I love what I do. I'm from Oklahoma and while I was a CNA for 20 years in nursing homes. I've lived here in Oregon for 8 years and I've been doing Agency in private caregiving. I'm going to be doing this kind of work until my bodyno longer allows me.
