I'm a certified nursing assistant as well as a certified medication technician. I also have CPR and First Aid training. I have 11 years of experience. I've worked for my current employer for 11 years. I was also a school nursing assistant for 3 years. I have worked with the elderly in their homes.

I have worked with Disabled adults for 11 years and I truly love it. I enjoy helping others to be their best self. I am a CNA and CMT.

I became a caregiver about 20+ years ago after raising my family. My brother was born with a disability and I seen how gentle and loving my mother was with him. I am proud to say I inherited her passion and caring heart. That is mainly why I chose to become a caregiver so I can give back. I am COVID vaccinated I am honest, reliable and dependable.

I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I have been a Caregiver for both young and old for over twenty years, and now that I have earned my Certified Nurse Assistant certification from Hagerstown Community College, licensed with Maryland Board of Nursing as a CNA (license #: A00190777) and am soon to be registered with Maryland Board of Nursing as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant after having passed the state exam. I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. The people that I have taken care of over the years i have treated with the same respect and dignity that i would want for my family. I love what I do and get great pressure taking care of others.
