I am prison to get long with. I have cpr and frist aid. I am a cna too. I am married and have 3 kids that live with me. I have 2 cats and 1 dog.

Growing up as a child I always wanted to be a nurse.I would always play doctor and nurse caring for my little friends.As I got older I followed my passion which is patient care ,and enrolled in a nursing program.I am a CNA,CPR Bls certified with over 8 years of caregiving experience in the vicinities of home,nursing homes also hospitals.I love to give back to others by helping and caring for them or even making myself available.

I love being a Caregiver because I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it's about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment - and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there's simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I've being a caregiver for more then 10 years now. I used to volunteer for nursing home and other activity when I was in the age of 19 so that's how i was encouraged to become a caregiver. I love to socialize,read, swim,meet new people and play sports.

I'm a caregiver who is honest dependable never late for work, I love what I do I take passion in caring for my clients. I have been a care giver for 37 years. I became interested in being a caregiver when a lady ask me for help she told me that she was not able to bathe herself. which I did help her and did not take any money from her she thanked me. So after that I assisted her with her care when I could and helped her to find more help. that is when I decided that this is what I wanted to do. I like seeing their faces when they get the help that they need just seeing that smile on their face is priceless. My personal achievement that I'm so proud of. I worked with this lady who wanted to work part time I found her a job which she had to volunteer for a week to see if she was able to do the work. I assisted her showing her what she needed to do. after 3 days she was offered the job I was so proud of her. she worked part time at the job and later was offered a supervisory position.

Hello everyone, my name is Janet, I've always been passionate about my work & helping others whenever I can. I have spent many yrs working within the hospital setting. I gained personal experience & awareness of what issues & concerns are to often overlooked in a hospital setting & leaving despair & frustration once the person goes home. The experience & skills I have gathered from working in the medical industry for years have propelled me to help out where I can help improve the care & have a positive impact in someone's life while in their home setting. I treat others with kindness, respect & compassion as if they were my own family. I've helped care for clients needing assistance in Alzheimer's, dementia, & hospice care needs. The sincere appreciation & personal gratification I feel is overwhelming high, knowing that I've made a positive impact in the life of another. I believe in Playing it forward in life & making this world a better place each day.

I am very campassionate and patient when dealing with the elderly . I love being around the elderly just to hear stories and tend to their daily needs .

I have 3years on records with Home Health Care Companies but I have been doing it for over 7 years total. Being a caregiver has been my passion for years. I took a health class dedicated to caregiving in just highschool so that I can achieve my dreams faster. I currently am enrolled into a class to review my CNA to further my career more into the health field. Then eventually I want to become a RN, LPN after many years of experience. My greatest strength as a caregiver is the sincere compassion that I will devote to your loved one. My first experience in geriatric care came when my grandparents became ill and required a hospice nurse. Taking on that role allowed me to develop an intimate understanding of the personal needs of my patients, foremost among them being the dignity and respect with which I believe every human being has an inherent right to recieve throughout the later stages of life. I was honored to help facilitate a hospice plan that allowed my grandparents to live and ultimately pass away in the home that they shared together, regardless of their advanced illness. I am proud to say that I am staunchly committed to bringing the same level of dedicated quality of care to all of my patients. I treat each individual under my care as if they were my own family, and pledge to do more than simply attend to their physical and ambulatory needs - I always ensure that my charges are given attention and conversation; kept engaged in activities and pastimes that they enjoy in order to promote a happy and fulfilling lifestyle in spite of their individual limitations. Working with the elderly is a constant reminder to me that there's no acceptable reason that people shouldn't be empowered to live well and retain as much independence as possible as they age. I previously worked as a medical assistant in doctor's office. I had a special needs daughter that passed away and led me to a career in home health. I love helping people maintain their dignity and comfort by helping them stay in the comforts of their own home.
