I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients male, or female, as if he, or she, are one of my family members. No there's no limits to my care, I will always go above and beyond. I've changed a lot of live, I also have saved lives, with in the past fourteen years I've been in this field. I became a caregiver because of several family members are in the same field, my mom is an registered nurse, going on 35 years, my grandmother was a LPN, and my aunts are CNA. So it deep rooted, so to speak.

What makes me a great caregiver is my passion to provide our elder community with the love care and support they need , and being able to be that number 1 person they rely on brings joy to me knowing that I am able to enrich their lives . I became a caregiver to take care of my own grandfather at home , and seeing how much of a difference I was able to make I started to pursue this as my overall career it is my way of giving back to my community , it takes a person with a special heart to be able to do this line of work . Starting my career off in such a way made me strive for more training and education about our geriatric community , which led me to graduate York County School of Technology with a Health Assistant Certificate , from there my career has taken off in a perfect direction .

*I Have a background check I took a picture it's in my profile under home health aide certification and also child abuse clearance. I am a great caregiver because, there was a time when I was working at a faculty and a client had very bad anxiety when putting her on the stand up hoyer-lift,I started to distract her by talking about her new bright nice yellow shirt and through that I was able to put her on it without no fight, her daily nurse was so shocked, she had issues daily putting her on. I was attracted to care given because I enjoy helping the elderly and being a person to show them love and attention, some don't no longer have any companionship. I enjoy being able to bond with them, and providing everyday needs so that they are comfortable in there homes. I am proud to say I had clients that moved away and when they returned they would find me so that I could work for them again.

Skills & Certifications: Blood Disorders, Vision and Eye Disorders, Home Health Aide (HHA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Tracheotomy / Ventilation, Stroke, Skin Disorders, Respiratory Disorders, Post Surgery Recovery, Parkinson's Disease, Hospice Care, Home Health Care, Hearing Disorders, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Diabetes, COPD, Depression, Dementia, Arthritis, Alzheimer's Disease, ALS
