Hi, my name is Cassandra but everyone calls me Cassie! I have helped take care of my grandfather, who has had dementia for over 10 years. When I moved away to school last fall, I began working as a direct care worker for a company, but found that I like private home healthcare better. My time with the two families I helped while away at school was amazing, and I was sad to leave them when I returned home for summer break. I have worked extensively with dementia patients, and I have experience with patients who have MS. I am very compassionate, patient, and hardworking and I truly care about the people I help. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that each person I help teaches me something new, and I love hearing their stories and learning about their lives.

I'm a caregiver who is honest dependable never late for work, I love what I do I take passion in caring for my clients. I have been a care giver for 37 years. I became interested in being a caregiver when a lady ask me for help she told me that she was not able to bathe herself. which I did help her and did not take any money from her she thanked me. So after that I assisted her with her care when I could and helped her to find more help. that is when I decided that this is what I wanted to do. I like seeing their faces when they get the help that they need just seeing that smile on their face is priceless. My personal achievement that I'm so proud of. I worked with this lady who wanted to work part time I found her a job which she had to volunteer for a week to see if she was able to do the work. I assisted her showing her what she needed to do. after 3 days she was offered the job I was so proud of her. she worked part time at the job and later was offered a supervisory position.

I became a caregiver because I love helping elderly people playing games with them if their able I treat them like their my family. I have a heart of gold for giving my all to people who need extra care. I've been doing this since I was 18 and I'm 32 I love it

I love what I do for a living. I believe this is my path in life . To help others . I'm very passionate about that . My clients are like family to me . It's my way of paying it forward . I've worked in long term, short term , lock down units. I've worked in rehab and therapy. Infectious disease control, wound care . I've worked for hospice . Also in assisted living . I've worked in almost every aspect of nursing. For over 20 years . At this time I'm working in home health care . I received my Cna license in Florida in 2006. I have a certification in cpr and my tb tests are all complete and up to date

As a mother of three, I am naturally a nurturing and loving person that is passionate about helping others be successful and live a fulfilling life. I have extensive training as a caregiver and I am also eager for new opportunities. I was first attracted to being a caregiver because I want others to feel loved, cared for, and accomplished in any aspect of their lives. These are also the aspects that I enjoy most about being a caregiver. I am most proud of the personal relationships I have developed over time with my clients that have become my lifelong companions and friends.
