A personal achievements I proud of one day one of my co-workers had really low self-esteem and I went out and treated her and myself to a spa day where she got her hair her nails her eyelashes everything done and then I surprised her and took her to the mall and brought her three outfits still to this day she calls me everyday and tells me how I brought her self-esteem higher than what it was she used to always tell me stories about how relationships they put her damn but me I made her feel like she was the prettiest girl every and im proud of myself

I have been a patient care assistant/ Direct careworker for over 15 years and I love what I do. I enjoy being able to help people in need. I have worked with many clients that are recovering from strokes. I have also worked with many clients that are suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have worked with many clients that just need companionship also. I have also helped clients that are terminal to help make their transition peaceful and comfortable also helping to comfort the family. I am a very patient and understanding person which I feel is important, I also have a great calming effect if I am ever faced with any stressful situations which helps me to be more affective in my job. I am very trustworthy and honest. I have done errands on my clients behalf in a timely and accurate way. I will accompany the client to and from Dr. Appointment as well as doing errands and other outings. I am very dependable and prompt. I believe that You have to love what you do in order to be more effective with different clients because no two clients are the same and each one will get my undivided attention for as long as I am taking care of your loved one. I don't spend time on my cell phone, my attention goes to the client at all times, which is important. I also use universal safety precautions at all times. I am always reading and learning about better ways I can be more effective with my clients. I am a caregiver/ personal care assistant because I love helping people and I love making a difference in people's lives. I am also a licensed Adult care worker who specializes in working with adults.

Personality traits that I have just going to choose a few, I'm very loving and cheerful, I love helping others and putting everyone before me to make sure thier well taking care of. I enjoy making conversation to make my patients laugh and feel welcomed, also just being someone they can look up to just in case they didn't or don't have that. A personal achievement that I am proud of is getting through school so that I can be able to treat people how I never was and give my unconditional love to them like I knew them my whole life.

I been a caregiver since 2009 and I really love what I do even before that I use to care for my grandmother before she passed away. I think what makes me a good caregiver I was told by many of my supervisors I also put my residents needs first and extend that extra hand and attention I have certificates and pins from serval of facilities I've worked for just for being extra caring and also good with the residents.
