Growing up as a child I always wanted to be a nurse.I would always play doctor and nurse caring for my little friends.As I got older I followed my passion which is patient care ,and enrolled in a nursing program.I am a CNA,CPR Bls certified with over 8 years of caregiving experience in the vicinities of home,nursing homes also hospitals.I love to give back to others by helping and caring for them or even making myself available.

I have been a caregiver for many years. It is my passion. I enjoy helping people a great deal. My mother before me was a nurse, my grandmother before her was a nurse. I take my job very seriously and I excel at what I do. I understand what it means to put my client and their safety and priorities first.

I love being a Caregiver because I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it's about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment - and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there's simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I've being a caregiver for more then 10 years now. I used to volunteer for nursing home and other activity when I was in the age of 19 so that's how i was encouraged to become a caregiver. I love to socialize,read, swim,meet new people and play sports.

Throughout my profession, I learned the most significant lesson that can never be taught in a training; everyday life experiences. My name is Mike, and I grew up with my grandfather and aunt and witnessed personally their daily problems. I saw how tough life can be through simple things we often take for granted such as walking, doing laundry and preparing food. It gave me a reason and a purpose to help other families as well. As time passes, it's natural to be concerned for the well-being of our own and our family. I know for me, my grandfather's safety was important to me all the way to his last day from cancer. I know the importance of trusting the right person during their most difficult times in their life. I also have 10+ years of hands on work experience as a Direct Support Professional Caregiver and a College Student Caregiver / Note Taker. This provided me with greater experience working with people with various diagnoses and limitations. I became a caregiver to help others and to give them something to look forward to. When you're sick a simple smile means a lot. What I like most about caregiving is the smile or thank you I get from my patients. And knowing I helped that person feel better. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is my education in healthcare and compassion for others. I am a very giving person and a very honest person. I'm also a hard worker and willing to please. Doing what's best for my patients is most rewarding for me. Knowing there are good and honest people out there willing to help.

I've always enjoyed helping others, and making a change in someone's life rather it was to make them smile or a kind word to make there day. Hello everyone, my name is Janet, I've always been passionate about my work & helping others whenever I can. I have spent many yrs working within the hospital setting. I gained personal experience & awareness of what issues & concerns are to often overlooked in a hospital setting & leaving despair & frustration once the person goes home. The experience & skills I have gathered from working in the medical industry for years have propelled me to help out where I can help improve the care & have a positive impact in someone's life while in their home setting. I treat others with kindness, respect & compassion as if they were my own family. I've helped care for clients needing assistance in Alzheimer's, dementia, & hospice care needs. The sincere appreciation & personal gratification I feel is overwhelming high, knowing that I've made a positive impact in the life of another. I have 3years on records with Home Health Care Companies but I have been doing it for over 7 years total. Being a caregiver has been my passion for years.
