I'm a reliable, honest and a hardworking caregiver. I have 16 years of experience working in the home care setting, Nursing home skills, rehab and assisted living. I've worked with a variety of patients including Dementia/Alzheimers, Parkinsons Disease, Autistic children etc. I love helping all kind of people especially the Geriatric population. I help with ADLs, run errands and become a companion who treats them with respect and dignity. I'm very attentive and a good communicator to my Patients. With my experience I can assure to help make any loved ones feel safe and well taken care of.

I am a loving and caring person. My late mother was a CNA but she had health issuues but she was a great teacher. I would give her most of here insulin shots. I enjoyed all the knowledge she taught me. I enjoy being a CNA cause it makes me feel special when a patient trusts you and feel comfortable being around you.

What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aide (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a pay check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.I also work on a Dementia/Alzheimer's unit as well at deermeadows. However I got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aide Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.

As a Certified Nurses Assistant, I am limited to wound care except non sterile wound care like applying bandages, limited to inserting and removing tubes like feeding tubes, limited to replacing colostomy bags except emptying it, limited to catheter tubes except emptying or replacing Texas catheter, and limited to other medical care such as administration of medication which is done by nurses. It is important that I provide quality personal care while ensuring that the client's health is mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally stable. I have experience with Hospice patients, Geriatric patients, and Alzheimer patients. As part of my job, I will report any incidents that occurs or occurred in the resident's home or residential. I like to give report of the services provided to the care team and family member in charge at the end of my shift. I have a family member that pass away from a certain sickness, I was their but I couldn't help in any shape or form, since then I decided to join the health care field and join hands in fighting certain diseases .
