My name is Shantell. I am a proud mother of three wonderful adult children and blessed with three amazing grandchildren. I have been working in health care since a young age, starting off being a health care aide for my blind grandmother at the tender age of 8 years old. From there on I found my passion in life. During my years as working as a personal care aide, I had the opportunity to take care of my parents during their last days. In doing so, I was able to gain a personal insight on the importance of having the right person taking care of your loved ones, which gave me an even greater passion for the work I do. I realized the importance of giving each and every person who I take care of the same love and care as I gave my loved ones while taking care of them. As well as the respect and honor to have the opportunity to be a part of their life.

My personality is what makes me a great caregiver. I'm compassionate empathetic reliable trustworthy and I love what I do. Nothing makes me more happy then knowing I made a person that's sickly or not able to help themselves feel comfortable at ease and happy for the great care that they received from me. I always wanted to be a nurse so I became a certified nurses aide and have been taking care of the elderly for eleven years I'll be going to school to become a nurse helping people is my passion
