I am a mom of 2 beautiful daughters - 18 and 9. Although I don't currently have any at the moment, I am a foster care mom (resource parent). I became a caregiver in 1983. I worked as a CNA at a nursing home. I love caring for the elderly. I achieve great satisfaction knowing that the care I provide makes someone feel better and more comfortable. My greatest accomplishment is becoming the first in my family to graduate high school and college. I graduated from Drexel (formerly Hahnemann ) University School of Allied Health Professions and became an RN in 1987. I completed a parish nursing program and earned my BSN in 2003. I work only part time. I am very interested in performing meaningful work for 3 - 4 hours daily while my children are in school. I am very nurturing and caring. I am respectful, patient and kind. I pay attention to details. I love to talk, and I am a good listener. I am reliable. I have current child link, criminal background and FBI clearances. My clearances are mandatory because I am a licensed foster care provider, minister and a registered nurse. My background is senior care, oncology, hospice and the health insurance industry. I am also a licensed minister.

Hello, I am an RN with 15+ years experience in several areas across the lifespan. I have been a RN caring for patients from birth until aging senior citizens. I love caring for others and that is why I was attracted to a career in nursing. I love helping people achieve their goals and provide them with a great quality of life. I was blessed to help my own Grandmother towards her end of life. She was a beautiful soul who led me to my passionate career. I would love to care for your loved one.

I'm an Rn with 35 years experience. I graduated from Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. I'm honest, dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate. I worked for many years at Holy Redeemer Hospital, on a Medical-Surgical floor, and, later, a floor specializing in Respiratory and Neurological difficulties.(ie., asthma, strokes, seizures) .I worked briefly, at Rydal Park,, on an Alzheimer's Unit. Later, I worked at Lafayette Redeemer Assisted Living Unit, focusing on the physical/mental/emotional needs of the residents. Excellent assessment skills, and quick to respond in emergencies. Proficient in documentation, and communicating with other medical staff. I've been a companion/caretaker, and nurse-if so dictated, for the past 8 years, at private residences. First,-for a woman with Alzheimer's, then, for an elderly gentleman with Lewey-Body Disease, and, presently, for a 68 year old woman with Frontal Dementia, now on Hospice care. I am trustworthy, kindhearted, and caring. CPR. and First-Aid certified.. I practice the continuing education courses for RN's every two years, as required by the state. I am also willing and able to run miscellaneous errands, such as grocery shopping, transport to and from Dr's appointments, pick up medications, or anything else someone would need. Please note my work experience in next section. Referrals upon request.
I would like to express my sincere interest in the open caregiver positions at Carelinx. Based on my skills I have acquired, through my education and 20 years of hands-on experience in various types of care as a staff RN and supervisor, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your team. I am looking to take a break from practicing as an RN in order to pursue other career opportunities in the medical field. A majority of my experience and my personal preference is in the field of geriatrics. I truly enjoy working with elderly people one on one. I wish to move away from the administrative red tape and move into a situation that allows me to care for another, the original reason I chose the nursing profession. I am very excited about the positions available at your organization. Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail. I look forward to meeting with you.
