Greetings. I am a Caregiver and also a Direct Support Professional. I've been in the field for 18 years. I am able to adjust to all people. Being that everyone has different medical conditions. I love this field of work because I have the opportunity to someone life better and help them feel secure about their situation. Rather if it's just companionship or cooking the a good meal. I became a Cna after taking care of my grandmother before she died from cancer. There was something so fullfilling about being able to give her care at her home in her last days. I have now been a cna for over 10 years. The hardest part of the job to me is not getting attached. I have a big heart and every patient I have ever had has been considered family to me.
