I love to help others!!For 28 years it has brought me joy to know that I do something everyday that puts a smile on an individuals face. I'm giving back what was given to me, at sometime or another we all need someone to care for us so its my duty to give back. Raising my kids and finishing school so i could do what i love. I am a leader, and a team player, having thw chance to recruite great help also helped me understand what it was like working in the office and how hard it is at times to get good help for our lives loved ones so as long as I can I will help make it easier for everyone and I will not stand for abuse of any kind to anyone..

Being a mother, I have learned several traits that has allowed me to be great as a caregiver. These traits include patience, compassion, the ability to listen and understand others as well as being able to aid with problem solving. I am interested in being a caregiver because I enjoy being in the company of elderly people. They always have a lot of knowledge to impart on me. As a result, I learn a lot from them. I enjoy being able to help others, learning from them and becoming a friend. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to go to school and earn my degree. Due to my going to school, I was able to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease and obtain a certificate for completing the class. Finally, I was able to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.

I love to work with the elderly and children. I'm currently in school to become a registered nurse. I have done home care since I was 18 years old. I had the same patient for 4 years + and I still have a great relationship with her. I am very patient and kind when it comes to others. I would treat your family member like they are my own. I am also very dependable.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation.
