Because I took care of my grandparents. I love to help elderly people and do for them like if their my own. And to become a nurse. I'm single with no kids , was certified for 15 years love my Job at tidepointe on Hilton head island. Been with the company for 9 years. Left there in 2017 for emergency. Did private care a client for 3 years. She pass away, then I started working at life care nursing home.

I'm a kind, caring, compassionate and understanding person. That's why I Love my job. I saw my mother a CNA take care of my father to his dying day. I enjoy being a caregiver because we as human may need to depend on someone other than ourselves. I love the look when they realize all I want to do is help. My personal achievement is changing my career into the health care field

I never thought about being a caregiver. But I was asked by a friend if I could spend some time and help out with her Grandmother. I had no experience in this area, but I instantly fell in love with my "client". In the beginning, she was able to do some things for herself, even with the dementia.She enjoyed being on the front porch, even though when we got back in the house, she wouldn't remember it. She loved spraying herself off after a shower. And she loved her ice cream. But as time went on she got weaker and weaker. When she was ill enough to be put in a nursing home for more intense care, I decided that this was something I was good at and enjoyed doing. So I went to school to obtain my CNA license. When my "little lady" was returned home, it was just a matter of keeping her comfortable. But she was still in good spirits. I wasn't there the day she passed, because my Dad passed the day before. Working in assisted living was an easier pace, and it seems more attention is paid to the clients. I worked in the Dementia unit which presents it's own set of situations. But the clients I worked for were wonderful people. It wasn't hard to have a smile on my face everyday just being around them, even though some days could be pretty intense. I've always said I would treat any "client", "patient", as family. The way I would take care of my own. And I found that out in Oct of last year, when I was fortunate enough to take care of my own Mother as she struggled with cancer, it was an honor to be with her through her last days. I've held the hand of a few of my "family" of people, including my own Mother as they have left this world. And just knowing that I was able to give them some peace and some comfort to me is what makes me enjoy this job, even with the sorrow that comes with it. I'm looking to have a one on one position. I would like to be close to the Antioch/Brentwood, Tenn area, I just moved here and I'm still getting acquainted with the area.

Caring for others has always been a passion of mine. Not only am I great at gaining the trust of others, but I am a very reliable and dependable person. I enjoy helping people live happier and less stressful lives. My favorite part about being a caregiver is seeing someone accomplish something he/she never could before and seeing that person feel proud because of it. A person achievement I am proud of is maintaining a level of patience that is very uncommon these days, especially when it comes to assist those with intellectual disabilities. I am a 25 year old young lady who enjoys the simple things in life like seeing the sun shine brightly everyday or spending time with family while watching a comedy movie and pigging out on pizza. I love the beach and reading. I currently reside in Summerville, SC but I am a California girl at heart. I am also a hard working student at Trident Technical College. I do not currently have any children but I do enjoy them. I sometimes smile uncontrollably so be careful because it can be contagious!

I have compassion for individuals that can't perform task or daily living activities,with the understanding that assistance is what they need to feel they are still in control of there independence,In my opinion, a caregiver job is one of the most important job in the world,I love what I do for a living and that's helping people live again in there on strength.

I think of every patient as a family member of mines . Like I wouldn't want this to happen if this was one of my family members.. I work very hard to get my job done . I am responsible and very caring .. and also very respectable
