Because I took care of my grandparents. I love to help elderly people and do for them like if their my own. And to become a nurse. I'm single with no kids , was certified for 15 years love my Job at tidepointe on Hilton head island. Been with the company for 9 years. Left there in 2017 for emergency. Did private care a client for 3 years. She pass away, then I started working at life care nursing home.

I love being a caregiver due to the fact that I love the elderly and I'm a very loving and patient person. My aunt was a diabetic for years and years and I always helped her with anything she needed and always made sure she felt good enough to forget about her pain inside. I just love making people feel their best and want to make sure their happy always. I'm very honest and trustworthy as well and always friendly. I'll have your relative always smiling!

I have compassion for individuals that can't perform task or daily living activities,with the understanding that assistance is what they need to feel they are still in control of there independence,In my opinion, a caregiver job is one of the most important job in the world,I love what I do for a living and that's helping people live again in there on strength.

I became certified in the late 90's to become more knowledgeable of the care that my quadriplegic father needed. I have worked in hospitals, nursing home and private care settings. I find home care to be the most rewarding. It is easier to care for and assist someone in an environment known to them. I find gratification in helping other, after all, is that not what the Bible instructs us to do.

Everyone wants to be needed from someone. I enjoy meeting different people from different backgrounds. I can walk, talk, see and hear, but there's someone out there that can do some or most the things I can do anymore. So I make it my best interest to make sure whoever I'm taking care of see the bright side of there disease or disability by bringing love, care, and my attention to there front door step. This is what a loyal and dedicated caregiver do and should do. Finding personal strength and increasing confidence is my job as a caregiver.
