Hello all! My name is Jessica Graves. I currently reside in Jackson Tn. I became a caregiver because of the passion and love I have for helping others. My belief has been that people with disabilities want to feel loved and independent as possible within their daily lives. I as a caregiver strive to help them conquer all goals.

I first started out through Addus Health Care in Marion, Illinois. At the time I did not know what I was really doing, it was just a starter job until I could find the job that I was truely looking for. Within the first couple of weeks that Addus Health Care, they were sending me to different clients homes, it took a little while for me to start feeling comfortable. The people who I got to come in contact with, and help with their daily living schedules; were so nice and so good to me; they were so loving, and it was the people who showed me so much love who made me want to show all my love back and they made me want to help them; but most of all through all the months and years that I had devoted my life with these people; it became where I just didn't want to share my love with them; I needed to show them because I need them as much as they need me. I love helping other people and getting to become a special part of their lives and families. I continued my education into CNA and CPR classes and have graduated, and am now State Certified through Tennessee.

I was always a caring person, but never really know there was a job as a caregiver till recently. I always worked in production and every plant I worked for closed I took it as a calling for me to go into something else so I chose CNA and it felt right for me. I like the connection you can have with other people that not family and the joy you can bring them when they don't have anyone else. Giving hope to a client that didn't have any.

I like to take care of people and see a smile on there face knowing I have made them smile and happy .too take care of people helping someone who needs help makes me happy . becoming a cna and a mother and grandmother .being a Christian person .I am 47 years old married and a happy go person enjoy the small things in life
