I became a caregiver at a young age, at 15 I began sitting with a lady while her husband would go out of town. And ever since then care giving has been a passion of mine. I love the stories they tell of their lives. I love being able to care for them and show them love. One of my biggest accomplishments is when I found myself taking care of a lady who seemed to hate everyone around her and didn't want me there to help her. So as I'd go in each morning it was a struggle, But I was determined that it was her illness that caused her to be this way and eventually she came to love me and my company.
