I have been a caregiver in some form for 36 years...to some this is a job..to me it's love..to me its giving someone a reason to fill like tomorrow can be better..its telling one with Dementia that your going to love them through those days they can't remember..this profession has taught that in 36 I could only hope someone could share the same with me...what I love most about being a caregiver is the smile on one's face at the end of the day..

I was born to take care if people I love to see the smile on there face when I can help them to help there self in any thing .. gives them some self control ..makes the day better to see them feel like they can still do stuff on the own.. sometimes we are the only family they have and puts a smile on my face to see I can even make a small difference in there life to make it better.

Hi, my name is Tana Taylor. I am a mature person with experience in both human & veterinary medical fields. I graduated from Fugazzi College with an associate's degree of applied science in medical assisting with a 4.0 gpa. My major/minor also included medical transcription, & I have extensive education & experience with various aspects of human psychology. I love animals & am a huge animal advocate, very involved with TNR for unowned, free-roaming stray & feral community cats. I also like many types of music & performing arts & have taken part in live performances in the past. 30+ years experience includes a medical clinic which housed primary care, urgent care, & occupational care, various veterinary front office as well as veterinary assisting prn, hospital HIM tech/medical records (St Thomas Nashville), hospital unit secretary (Cookeville Regional Medical Center), consistent exceptional customer service in every job I have ever held, client education (vet clinics & spay/neuter clinics), cashier (Walmart), administrative assistant , front office receptionist various jobs & front desk/night auditor at motel, retail customer service & assistant manager (SuperPetz & PetSmart), & prn/limited pharmacy (Eckerd). Since February 2023 most recently working with Pacesetters providing in home direct support for 3 ladies with levels of need 2-3 (walker, wheelchair, oxygen, nebulizer, cpap) currently working 12 hour overnight shifts. The ladies are able to do their own bathing & toileting, but I sometimes need to assist one of them with getting dressed. I am not comfortable dealing with other people's nudity & hygiene tasks on a regular, every day basis. I did have to do so recently after one of the ladies fell & broke some bones in one of her hands up until she was completely healed. I am a compassionate person who wants to make a positive difference in the daily lives of other people & animals. I am conscientious, honest, dependable, empathetic, calm, kind, & intuitive.
