I personally think that in order to be a good caregiver, one has to have a serving heart and passion in doing this and I am blessed to have that kind of heart towards our elderly. I also am very patient when it comes to dealing with them, making sure to always understand and acknowledge their feelings before anything else. I am also well disciplined and organized when it comes to a given task. I chose this profession because it's close to my heart after my experienced taking care of my own grandmother before she passed away. I love taking care of elderly people because it doesn't even feel work, I feel like I'm taking care of my own family. I just love being a companion to them because I, too, learn a lot from their great wisdom. The relationship you build with them is priceless. Making them feel loved and well appreciated are personal achievements for me.
