Hello, my name is Cydney! I have been a caregiver for 8 yrs. My caregiving journey begin when my great Aunt's health declined and she needed more assistance. Everyday after school I would take care of my aunt and I truly valued every moment. When my aunt transitioned I decided that I wanted to help others have that companionship as well. I have decided to stay in this field bc I love nurturing and being joyful for others.

My personal reason is, I helped my dad with my mom. She was on hospice for approximately size months or more. Then, after mom passed I helped take care of dad, he passed the following year. I worked in the Sheriff's office for 23 years assisting The nurses I love people and I love taking care of their needs, such as light house keeping, companionship so their not lonely. Every one needs loved and sometimes the elderly are forgotten about. I am working now but I'm driving almost an hour away which is taking time away from my grandchildren that I adopted. Just last week I worked 90 hours., and the week before I put in 65 hours. As you see I'm not afraid of work.

A little about me . i am CPR,AED,and Basic First aid certified and i take safety very seriously.Having been raised with a family member who has Alzheimers and another one who developed dementia i have literally heard everything , and i have lots of experience in dealing with those situations.I am a people person i enjoy spending time with people who haved lived full lives and enjoy listening to all theyre stories. and i take great pride in helping elderly people with anything they might need help with. Im a jack of all traids master of none and find myself not just willing but very able to accomplish almost any task. I am also strong enough to lend a hand when needed and wont hesitate to do so.

My mom and I have always loved begin around the elderly. I have took care of my mamaw and papaw. I have been a caregiver for almost 4 years in December. My mom is also a caregiver.

I started out with mental challenge adults. Work with them since 2000. In 2005 my husband was physical disabled in a car accident. Took care of him till 2011 when he passed. I got a great opportunity to work with a 95yr old senior In 2012 . I my duties include bathing hygiene prepared meals. Ran errands took to doc appt. House keeping. Med reminder. She came part of family. She passed June 9 2016. 2 weeks before turning 99. I am also a kind and loving individual and make a great companionship to any age or gender.

Hi, My name is Starr and I began my career in caregiving for the elderly and disabled 3 years ago; before then I've taken care of babies and young children all throughout my life. I have been a CNA (certified nurses assistant) since July 2017 as well as CPR and first aid certified. I genuinely enjoy caring for others. I feel that my purpose in life is to serve and make my presence comfortable to be around. As a 23-year-old I have the compassion and energy to fulfill the needs of each person I assist. Working in assisted living, home health, and long term care, I have cared for up to 25 residents at a time in assisted living and an average of 15 residents in long term care. My duties have included: laundry, serve and assist snacks and meals, housekeeping, activities, bathing, transferring, and general adl's (activities of daily living).
