I'm a talkative friendly & outgoing person. I am passionate about nursing and health care....especially for the elderly! I went to school to be a nursing assistant when I was in my late 40's because straight out of college I got married (32 years now!) and had two daughters. AFTER the youngest one graduated from high school in 2010, I was then able to pursue my real dream of getting certified to be able to care for clients and hopefully make their lives a bit better!

Caregiving came to me naturally in my younger years and I believe God has placed natural talents and gifts in all of us. I enjoy working with people and take my work seriously. I count it an honor to serve others and I hold myself accountable for the care I give others even how I communicate and relate to my clients and their families. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I love to encourage others and to lift their hearts where I can. (I also believe that what goes around comes around and one day I may need someone to care for me and encourage me.) I am very proud of working in a hospital, learning to train the nursing staff on safety and patient handling techniques. I am now a single mom with children grown and living very productive lives. I am not married any longer so I have to restrictions on my time. I do prefer to work night shifts because I did this for many years as a single mom. (child care for 3 was cheaper this way so I have become accustom to working nights.) I do have very strong references upon request.

A personal achievement that I am extremely proud of was going to college to be a nurse. Although, if it had not been for my mothers help, I feel I would not have been able to finish. I think not really knowing my grandparents attracted me to being a caregiver. I sort of adopt grandparents along the way. I seem to have a passion caring for older adults. I have worked in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I prefer to care for individuals in their own home, because I feel better care is given. I am a mother of 2 grown children and an empty nester, so I feel my entire focus will be to provide the best care for you or your loved one.

I take pride in what I do because my patients are worth every ounce of love and care that I am here to provide. A great care giver you have to just have a big heart and to really care for yourself yet for another human even if it's not your family . I care for the elderly I enjoy them it's hard getting close to them and they pass away. I wanted to get out of the fast food business so I got my high school diploma and I went to nursing school for a CNA to do something new.and exciting. Being in nursing homes seeing the nurses with the residents just how funny they can be even if there mean it's funny cause they don't mean it but some don't have family that see them so I enjoy being able to help the elderly. I enjoy the most is helping them get dressed up and look like there back in there younger days just to have fun and make them feel better. They look up to all the help they can get if they can't do themselves . you can really learn alot from them .
