Hello, My name is Jessica Voncannon. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I decided to go to college and become a Medical Assistant and though I loved it, my heart just belongs in home health. I absolutely adore the elderly and am very passionate about being able to advocate for my patients and make sure they get the best care. And ive found the only way I can asure that happens is to be the one who is caring for them. I have been blessed to be able to work with many family and become apart of so many family's and I look forward to working with many more.

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years and I have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as well as Muscular Sclerosis, Paraplegic and wheelchair bound individuals. I also have over twenty years of experience with ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders , Developmental Delays and learning disabilities such as dyslexia. I have a current CPR certification as well. I am currently a medical assistant with Memorial Hermann -Sugarland and I am looing to continue with school therefore having to change my schedule with work is not an option. I love dealing with people and caring for them making sure that they take their medications correctly and are in good health, making sure they are eating proper for their condition and make sure they keep their appointments.

I like being a caregiver because I get satisfaction out of helping others. The biggest personal achievement I am proud of is graduating with my medical assistant certificate. I am a mother of three in hopes of starting nursing school in August 2018.
