I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. One of the best qualities as a caregiver is my ability to be empathic. I understand that my client may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay these fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for.

I am a loving person and that makes me a great caregiver. I care about people's happiness and well-being. What got me started in this career is that my elderly grandmother and aunt needed care. I recognized that the people who worked for them were only there for a paycheck and didn't genuinely care. I worked for them and did all that was expected and more. That is what I will do for your loved one. *Also cared for an elderly family friend for 3 years.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I can relate to being the patient. I have been a patient as well and would like to be treated with dignity, respect and have the best health care for myself. The support from Family, Friends and the Professionals make a big difference in a client's recovery. I became a caregiver because I believe that a person should first be educated, and have access to the best healthcare available for a better quality of life. Our families loved ones are our greatest assets and we need to cherish our time with them. My experience as a caregiver has taught me that not only is the patient cared for but the entire Family must be part of the healing process as well. I think that a good healthcare provided can bring security and peace of mind to the Family and the patient. They will be reassured that their loved one will be safe and will receive the best care possible from a qualified caregiver. I have reliable transportation and have 10+ years experience working with geriatric patients that have special needs in their own homes. I enjoy sucessfully meeting the patient's healthcare goals and the needs of their immediate family. I am CPR Certified as well as a Certified Medical Assistant since 1994. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your loved one's needs. Sincerely, Kathryn M. Howard

I think I'd make a great caregiver I love building relationships with other I communicate very well with others. I have an easy going personality I get along very well with anyone. I'd like to become a caregiver more because it's personal to me that elders are taken care of if I could go back I would of spent all day and night with my grandpa but I was to young to understand what I needed to do for him. I like knowing that I could put a smile on anyone's face if I was a caregiver I could lighten up the mood in any given situation. The one thing I'm very proud about myself is knowing I got pregnant my senior year in highschool but it did not stop me I graduated. I went to college for medical assisting I finished college and the whole entire time I was working and taking care of my daughter.
I believe am a great caregiver because of my grandmother, and my mother. For their gentle ways of raising me and teaching me how to show love through kindness and generosity. I enjoy meeting new people and helping where I can. I am a fast learner, I adapt well to new things and I can say that I adjusted to them as well. I became a caregiver to my Grandparents when they moved to Arizona, I would assist them with grooming, bathing, toileting, cooking, dressing and cleaning. When my grandfather was diagnoses with Dementia, I spent longer hours in a day to assist them with more, such as, Medication reminders. transporting them to dr. appointments and shopping needs. My grandmother was diagnosed with COPD and was on 100% oxygen at that point and would get winded within a few steps, she was a fall risk and needed assistance to walk, that's when I knew, I wanted to be a Caregiver for others.
Hello my name is jennifer. I've been a caregiver since 2010. I choose to be a caregiver because growing up I've always had a passion to help people out the kindness of my heart. I enjoy helping people in need and simply making the life of others a perfect place to live. Everything I do comes from my heart and I am 100 percent dedicated to my client.
I love helping elderly people for the fact that they have lived their life's so the world can keep spinning. They inspire me with their braver of what they have lived in life. Now that their in the stage of not been able to do for them selfies is where I love to come up and help them enjoy their time. I enjoy making them smile and making things as ease as much as I can. If I don't get a smile or just a thank you by the end of my shift it tells me that I haven't satisfied my elderly.
