Well,in my country I was a doctor and in the hospital I saw many sick elderly people and my greatest joy was when I saw a smile on the patients' faces, when I felt I could help them, that's why I want this position,I like to help the elderly,I see them become very fragile and need support and company.I would be proud to work as a caregiver and improve I am also studying nursing and caregiver would helps me a lot that nursing and nursing helps me a lot to treat with elderly. My goal is to be better every day and I want to grow with.
I have been working in the healthcare field for 15yrs, and have work and all kinds of settings with many different clients and different stages of health. I became a caregiver because I like providing companionship and getting to know people. I like seeing positive results from my clients and their family. I am proud receiving my certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient cCare Technician from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, currently continue my education to become a Medical Assistant.
My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver is that I'm friendly and have a bubbly personality. What attracted me to being a caregiver was that I love helping people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I get to meet different people and talk to them and listen to some of the stories that they have to tell about their life. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is going to school and becoming a CPT
I became a caregiver around 1996 or 1997, I was very young, but I had to work with my grandmother. She was a very bad diabetic and had to get her legs amputated. It was a very big task for someone as young as I was but I wouldn't have changed any of it for the world. That is when I realized this was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I enjoy helping the ones in need. I have not only worked with the elderly, I have worked with all including babies. My achievement that I am proud of are graduating from college at the age of 30, learning that it is never to late to go back, another achievement that I made was moving to Arlington not knowing many people but doing what is best for me and my daughter. I am a 33 year old single mom. I don't drink neither do I smoke. I work hard to make sure that my family and I have what is needed. I have reliable transportation. I am still learning my way around Texas. I enjoy going to church. I love being with my family, they are everything to me.
I know what needs to be done. I have the energy, the capability, and the drive to take action. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Raising a family is always foremost but besides that I guess it would have to be the strength that I have found over the years to overcome life's obstacles.
