I am a very reliable caregiver with over 15years of experience(the experience sums up my overall performance) I have patience, very attentive, compassion, dependable and trustworthy... for many years, going back to as young as 8years old I've always had a heart to reach out and help others with greater needs than my own. When I realize just how much my efforts touched hearts and made a difference I made it my duty to continue pushing forth in assisting others with their personal care needs. I've cared for disabled children, childcare license/daycare, nursing homes, special needs facilities, retirement homes, and in home care... I've had many opportunities to redirect my passions/careers and I've found nothing else more heart filling for me than my duties as a caregiver.... I've always been told "any type of work you do, if your heart is into it, that's where you belong" and to sum it all up... I enjoy making a difference for the better in others lives!!! I'm proud to know I'm still accomplishing my mission in seeing to it another life has hope for a greater day!
Hello, my name is Amanda. I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I love people and love to assist in anyway I can. Remember I've been doing it for twenty years. What I like about being a caregiver is to help someone that can't help themselves or simply just need assistance. One of my personal achievements is receiving many awards from my previous job. I also received the highest reward you could ever imagine, the grandest of them all Baylor CEO award. Just to think I got all of that, for just being me and doing something that I love, taking care of people.

I feel what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that l show empathy and compassion to my clients. I start by making them understand that l am there to take good care of them and l want to help them as needed. I became a caregiver because my priority has always been to help people by caring for them, and making them smile. What l like about care giving is the fact that you get to meet new people, with different cultures and personalities. And it does bring on new challenges, which some times end up being a means for constant learning and helps me improve and also develop more skills. One of my personal achievements that am proud of is my being a reliable and dependable caregiver. And with that, the clients knowing l have that quality can get to build their trust and become more comfortable and relaxed to have me taking care of them.
