I am a passionate and reliable caregiver possessing over 15 years professional experience. Committed to providing the highest quality care to the geriatric and disabled community. It brings great satisfaction to be able to maintain/sustain a degree of independence for clients, companionship and being able to provide a alternative care for clients in home. I became a caregiver from the advice of a uncle, who told me that I was a natural caregiver during the time of taking care of my grandparents. One of the most personal achievable things I'm most proud of in caregiving is maintaining skin integrity without any breakdowns or bedsores of any client.
I am a great care provider because I look at clients in a manner for which I would like to be looked upon. For example, treating others with respect, kindness, and dignity provides a style in which I would like others to treat me. I have been providing care services for 7 years starting with a family respite care business and then moving to providing personal assistance. What I like most about being a care provider is that I am to give back to the community in a positive way as well as help those who have paved the way for the younger generation. There are several personal achievements that I am proud of but the most important one is having graduated with a Master's degree to now working on a Ph.D.

I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client' s day, that means a lot to me. As a person begins to age, family members often feel the need to help with everyday tasks their loved one now finds challenging. It can be hard to tell when aging is affecting a family member, because small things can add up to a larger challenge incredibly fast. If this sounds like something your family is experiencing, you're not alone. Today, more than 34 million adults are providing care to a loved one over the age of 50
I became a caregiver because I've always had a connection when it came to working with the elderly. The thing I like the most about being a caregiver is being around the elderly. It makes me feel good to know that I can make a difference when it comes to having them remain in their home and not need to go to a facility. A achievement that I'm proud of is when I'm working with someone and they feel a bond with me and want to know when they'll see me again. I'm a good person to get along with and I go beyond to make sure that I have clients that are happy and comfortable.

I feel like what makes me an outstanding caregiver is that I love what I do. Making a difference in people's lives and being giving of yourself is what I think life is about. I find enjoyment in taking care of people and helping make their day a little easier.I have been a CNA for 18 years and haven't regretted a moment of it. Of course you have your trying days but you push right through it and take a positive attitude to remind yourself of the greater purpose for being in this field. I became a caregiver when my grandfather became ill from cancer. I assisted my grandmother in caring for him until he passed away. I was 14 years old at the time. After graduating high school I got my CNA licence and haven't looked back. My personal achievement was finishing Vocational Nursing school and continuing on to my RN degree.
I care deeply for all people but especially the ones who need more attention and assistance with basic care needs. I consider working with seniors as a privilege. I truly believe that there is greater joy in giving than receiving. I am most proud when I receive an out pour of love and gratitude from the families I am able to assist.
I provide compassionate and non-judgemental care to clients and also have great communication skills. I was encouraged to be a caregiver by my mother because she always encouraged me to help and show love to the people around me. I enjoy helping people who are unable to perform usual activities due to their health conditions, this facilitates the recovery process. I am proud of being a recent graduate from a nursing school with an associate degree. I can now work as an RN!
I'm very dependable in time of need whether your ill or need a hand. I am open to listen to you whether your having a good day or a bad day. I will assist with guidance, support and empathy. I have always been able to help others around me. I started out as a care giver in 1991, first by caring for children in my family. I enjoy being a companion to my residents. I'm also sociable and patient. I'm a Medical Assistant as well, but has only gained clinical experience as far as externship. I am willing to learn more hands on as a Medical Assistant. Seeking job in South Fort Worth area only. Can not work around dogs or cats.
I am a cheerful, caring, compassionate person who cares about the well being of others. Being a care giver allows me the opportunity to serve the needs of others and help them to be comfortable and ideally assist them to recovery. This is the reason why I chose the health care field and studies to be in a position to help others. I love working with the public and love people in general. I am wholesome and well rounded, as well as knowledgeable and educated in the care of others. I posses a degree in mental health and addiction counseling. I also have a certificate in Social Work and am currently working on my Bachelors degree. I plan to enroll in the Physicians Assistant program with Yale University Online program.
Taking care of people is my passion. I have strong Christian values and I feel like it is what I am meant to do in life. I helped take care of my father when he was alive, and a few other clients who's family have become like my own. I have worked as a PCA and a Med Aide. I am very caring, dependable, and hard working. I would love the opportunity to help care for your loved one.
