I am a highly qualified senior caregiver looking to assist and care for you and/or your loved ones. Memory care, Alzheimer's/Dementia, is an area most handled but I also offer companionship, light housekeeping, managing and medication reminders, incontinence care, feeding, bathing and grooming assistance plus a whole lot more. I am familiar with in home, skilled nursing, memory, assisted and independent living cares. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I was raised to respect and cherish the sick and elderly at all times. I wanted and studied to be a doctor, but sometimes life gets in the way of our goals so care giving is my way of still helping in the healthcare field. I like seeing relief and satisfaction on client's faces when they are clean, their home is clean, they have a great meal and great company in their presence regularly. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school with honors and making my parents proud. I attended business school, college and a university. I take each client as if they are family making sure I know what their needs are. Also, asking engaging questions about what they would like to accomplish, goals for the near future, and what type of care works best for them.

I'm caring and compassionate, I have a huge heart and honestly enjoy helping others. Which is why being a caregiver isn't just about receiving a pay check to me. To me its about making a difference in someone's life, although it may be a small difference. My main goal as a caregiver is to assist you (the family) in keeping your loved one in their home and happy as long as I can, to be there when you can't and bring you peace of mind knowing your loved one is being cared for. I love that I get to know the people I take care of, hearing the stories, being the person they look forward to seeing each day. Like I said, yes its my job, but its a job I'm very passionate about and take pride in.

I am a compassionate person, with an ability to multitask and a good listener. my experience with elderly care gives me an edge on dealing in critical situations (if needed). The sense of positivity and feeling of empathy are rewarding factors according to me for being a caregiver. Also gives me a sense of personal satisfaction i get from helping the seniors. One of my best achievement would be - making a decision to save someone's life But Also Stan one of the residents dedicated a song to me and this is why I love being a caregiver as well.I love one on one interaction with others as well as I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way.
