I'm a young grandmother of 4 and I love taking care of people. I treat all of my patients like I would treat my love one. I'm thankful for that I'm able to do what I'm passionate about after being on the cooperate side of nursing homes for 18 years.

Im a very patient person and it takes patients to be a caregiver. I treat my patients as if their my family members with love and respect.

What makes me a great caregiver you ask? I'm very caring and nurturing due to having ill parents and grandparents that I had to take care of. I treat people how I would want to be cared for and my loved ones. I honestly wanted to be a neurosurgeon so I've always wanted to be in the healthcare field, I've been a caregiver/medical assistant for about 7years it's very rewarding seeing the simplest things make others feel better.

I've been in the field of home health since I was 16 years old , I love it . I will continue to care for people who need daily assistance. I believe what makes me a great caregiver is because I am patient, compassionate, reliable, honest and I have some experience. I did not know about care giving until I came to this Nation and my family members introduced me to it and after doing it for a few months I started to enjoy taking care of people in need and I have been doing it ever since. What I like most about being a caregiver is when am taking care of a patient and am able to help them do what they could not do by themselves and see the face brighten and smile. My personal achievement that am proud of is handling a combative patient make them calm and they accept care, take their medications and meals.

I am a kind, empathetic, patient, reliable, trustworthy loving and a very kind person. I love people especially elderly and children. All that combined, you have a great caregiver. I am naturally a caregive from childhood. When I came to this Country 17yrs ago, I tried everything else until I came home, caregiving. I took care of people all my life. My grand parents, my young siblings, relatives and neighbors. Where I come from, I am tonight to respect and love elderly and children first and foremost. This lead me to be the best caregiver you can find. When I get up going to "work" I enter a home and see that person waiting for me to put a smile on her/his face, that melts my heart, the job mentality ends there and I am at home. The feeling of some one your grandmothers age calling you mother! That takes care of me, knowing that I am making a difference in some's Mom/Dad's life.
