After volunteering at an assisted living center and a Memory Care Residence, I realized I'd cultivated a passion for working with the elderly. I decided to take a job as a personal care assistant at Kindred at Home, and that passion has stayed with me since. The reason I became a CNA is because my grandmother was very sick (lung/brain cancer) when I was little an I tried to take care of her the best I could.
